The GTA represents its Members at the following national and international organisations
WHAT WE DO
The British Shooting Sports Council. (BSSC)
The GTA is a council member of BSSC (the umbrella body for the defence of shooting sports in the UK) and attends meetings devoted to matters such as:- the Violent Crime Reduction Bill, firearms licensing, tempory 11.6 permits, calibres, conditions on Certificates, antiques, non-toxic shot issues, proposed new certification process etc.
The World Forum on the future of Sport Shooting Activities
The GTA attends the plenary sessions of the World Forum during IWA every year and takes an active role in the ongoing UN Protocol negotiations on the marking and tracingof small arms (SALW).
