Online petition to reclassify .22 pistols as Section 1
The GTA supports the move to reintroduce .22 calibre pistols for legitimate uses and urges members to sign the online petition which has been launched on the Government's website urging the Home Office to reclassify .22 pistols as firearms which can be legally held on Section 1 license.
The e-petition already has more than 2,000 electronic signatures, but needs to reach 100,000 signatures by the time it closes in August 2012 to be considered for debate in Parliament.
Please click the link below to sign the online petition:

This link takes users to the petition where they then complete their name and address and submit their details. HOWEVER, their name is NOT added to the petition until they receive an email asking them to confirm that their email address is correct. The user must then click on a link in the email to confirm that the email is correct. Only then will they be added to the petition .
