Navigating International Trade Challenges: A Conversation on Gun Trade and British Representation

Simon West OBE, Executive Director of the GTA Ltd, is excited about getting a team together to discuss international trade, the challenges we face, the issue of limited British representation in the gun trade, and finding ways to ensure proper and safe movement of goods.

Adrian Bond, Department of International Trade, shares his insights on exporting firearms, global security, and how his team, along with connected departments, actively support responsible exports and trading.

Marleen Meyer, Project Executive OTSA talks to us about this year’s IWA Outdoor Classics event and the figures from both the attendees and exhibitors of the event.  She also gives us a sneak peek into the 50th anniversary IWA Outdoor Classics 2024 in Nuremberg. One event you might want to attend.

And Gary Costello, Managing Director PBS International Freight Ltd; a company that specialises in handling the transportation of firearms and other restricted items that most other freight companies shy away from, dives into the concept of consolidating shipments and proposes ideas to simplify the shipping process for the British gun trade, ultimately benefiting traders.

Simon then opens the floor to the attendees for a fascinating Q&A.

The Gun Trade Association Ltd. is registered in England and Wales under company number 0125465 at Bisley Camp, Brookwood, Woking GU24 0PB.
